  • The bar is located on the first floor of Juhl, on the side that faces North. At the late hour I visited, there was plenty of street parking on all sides of the building. Bar is small and cute with rather typical trendy modern decor. I tend to like noisier, darker and even smokier setting (no, I've never smoked) in bars and though Classic Jewel is very pretty, it wasn't very lively. I did notice DJ's equipment, so by the looks of things atmosphere livens up some nights. On the night I visited, it was a handful of guys watching a game and conversing about it, and you could pretty much hear every word said in the small space. They have a selection of draft beer, small but intentional, which I always appreciate, featuring craft and local brews. I ordered a vodka gimlet and bartender did a nice job with it, it may have been on a sweeter side, but still good. There is a single stall restroom in the back, and ladies, if you ever wondered what a urinal looks like, there's your chance. Caught me a little off guard, lol. All in all, glad I checked it out and got it off my list, but it won't be my "go to" spot.
