  • We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Victoria. Funny little side story - our taxi driver drove us to this hotel upon arriving from the airport and told him to take his here; he told us that we should have stayed at The Hilton or somewhere fancier; he said this hotel is "old and not so good anymore". Well, we have to disagree slightly. Sure it isn't as fancy and may look a little old on the outside, but the inside and the rooms were pretty modern. Yes the rooms are a bit small but not as small as the hotel my bf and I once stayed at in San Francisco. So staying here was a pleasure. The wi-fi is free too! However, our tv wasn't working properly. We normally used it to wind down after a long day of sight seeing but in the end we didn't really use it and we didn't bother to call for maintenance. The front desk was friendly and helpful. An added bonus is the storage room for our luggage. We were really early for our check-in and wanted to store our luggage so we can get started on sight seeing but they happened to have an available room so they got us in quick! When checking out, we utilized the storage room to do some more sight seeing before our late afternoon flight back home. This hotel is close to a lot of places to eat and shop. So glad we stayed here.
