  • The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, is wonderful, I have been here 4 or 5 times! I love that if you are a touring band you can give them one of your cd's as trade for admission into the museum, which is how it should be. Nothing like being on the road playing music and having a day to stop and be inspired by all the greats who have gone before us on the trail of rock and roll! I love all the memorabilia from the past! Hendrix's outfits, John Lennon hand written lyrics, to Robbie Robertson Guitar he played at the Last Waltz. I love the video section in the rotunda theater, and I love the special exhibits I have seen here! I saw the "I want to take you higher," psychedelic one, I saw one on the Doors, one on the Clash, and an Elvis one with a tv that he shot with a handgun, but my fave special exhibit was the the BOSS one. I love how they had the 4 track he recorded "Nebraska" on! Naturally every year there is much debate about the greats who are left off the list to get in! Think, Harry Nilsson, The Zombies, ELO, the Moody Blues.. All those bands should be in, and I hope the Hall see the light of day on future bands like Pavement, Yo La Tengo, The Pumpkins, Beck, Wilco, Guided By Voices, and other greats from child hood. This is a must stop for any fan of Music, make a day of it, and bring some money cause the record store is the only place I ever saw an ELO belt buckle and I should have bought it! Excited to bring my son someday!
