  • I really wanted to like Sugar Tiers, I wanted Markham to have one good bakery. This place is not good for cupcakes, which is what I was expecting, but it did have beautiful cakes with good decor, like dragons and I assume it would make decent looking wedding cakes. I tried a cupcake and it fell flat, it was crumbly but also moist? The frosting was too dunkaroos like for my liking. Macaroons did not look appealing. It's a bakery, but a bakery with Asian Flare like another reviewer mentioned, its not like the other Asian bakeries with the normal goodies. Don't think I'll go here again for cupcakes. However, they did seem to have some beautiful cakes with nice fondant work. Not sure how it would taste, but it looked good! Would probably work for cultural/asian events.. they had this gorgeous dragon cake/
