| - UPDATE: This place IS cheaper than the grocery store, just not Costco. A 300g container was $7.99 at Superstore!!!
***This review is for the Gourmet Food Store on 10 Plastics Ave.***
A much, much smaller store than when I last visited a coupla years ago. I remember it being at least 2-3Xs the size of this current store which is maybe 250sq'! Perimeter of store has baker shelves with product that were quite empty.
Store is open to the public and an employee runs it while he does accounting on the computer.
Minus stars 'cause it is NOT much cheaper than the grocery store. 300g bag of cookies were $4.99, 250g container of Lemon/Cocoa/Ginger Snaps were $4.49. Across the street, at Costco, a 500g container was $6.79. So Costco was cheaper than the actual outlet.
No bread in sight. They only sold cookies, seeds, grains, gluten free flour, & other assorted baking ingredients. Parking lot is closed off, you hafta use the intercom, but I didn't bother. It was easier to just park on the side of the road.
