  • Once again, Bobby Flay did not disappoint! We have been to Mesa Grill before, but probably not since over 5 years ago, and I must say, our experience this time was just as great as the first! We actually arrived about 45 minutes early for our reservation because we overestimated how long it would take to park and walk from the parking garage with my 84 year old grandmother. The staff was so accommodating upon our arrival that no longer than 5 minutes after we checked in for our reservation, they seated us! After ordering drinks, the server brought out a bread basket with some absolutely lovely little samplings! The cornbread muffins had just enough spice and were not too crumbly, and the blueberry coffee cake was perfectly moist with a nice crunchy streusel topping. My one complaint was that because the restaurant is tucked into the casino of Caesar's Palace, the cigarette smoke from the surrounding areas wafts into the restaurant and it became pretty noticeable while we were beginning to eat. Not overpowering, just a minor inconvenience. We tried 5 different entrees from the Sunday Brunch menu and would definitely recommend any of the 5! They were phenomenal! The 5 we ordered were: 16 spice chicken salad (lots of smooth yummy goat cheese! So good) Spicy scramble (not THAT spicy, has very thinly sliced jalapeño peppers in it) Spicy chicken sweet potato hash (comes with two deliciously runny poached eggs!) Mesa Burger (Bobby Flay is rightly called the Grill Master. Excellent burger) Spice rubbed pork sandwich (Large portion and so yummy!) A word of caution: the spicy chicken sweet potato hash is AMAZING and full of flavor but was too spicy for the person in our party who ordered it so I ended up swapping dishes with them, but I thoroughly enjoyed it because I love spicy food. Service was great! No complaints there. Drinks were filled without prompting any time they were starting to get low, and our server checked in many times to make sure the allergies we had discussed with him upon ordering were properly handled by the kitchen. All in all, the food is extremely reasonably priced considering the portions and how truly satisfying and delicious it is, and we can't wait to go back!
