  • I've always used Stanley Steamer and been happy with them. But they we'r here the other day and I was not impressed. There was a dark smudge on the carpet when they left which I had to get out myself. Also, they cleaned an area rug for me and were supposed to lay it out on the floor to dry. They must have forgotten because they left it folded up (wet) in the living room. I had to move it to another room and lay it out myself. Probably won't use them again.
