  • Shop around first. Referred by someone else I called off yelp that didn't do Air repairs. He arrived a bit later 4:30, than the time window 12-4. Diagnosed a blower motor. I didn't do the calls for a 2nd opinion estimate. When I did that after the fact, since I have two systems and may well need this done again soon, I got estimates for $500-600 total parts and labor, instead of the $710 I paid. Tech said the part was $540, but when I looked it up online it was substantially less money. I had heard that this industry is not that honest, and this somewhat confirms this because the tech stated they don't make much off these repairs because of the cost of parts. Very nice guy, but I'm suspicious of this company now, although I hate to be that way. Next time will shop around more.
