| - Let me start out by stating that I never leave reviews for anything. I figure most people don't read them anyway, but in this case, if I can warn even one person about what they'd be getting into by going here, it'd be worth it.
I went in yesterday to get a full set of sns nails done. I usually go to a different place, but they were closed on Mondays and I had a chipped nail that I wanted to get fixed before I started my work week, so I figured I'd give this place a shot. My first red flag should have been when I sat down next to a lady that had just gotten the same thing done with the manicurist that was fixing to do my nails. The woman was obviously not satisfied with the job that had been done on hers, and began to express as much. Another woman that worked there came over and tried to smooth things over, and the dissatisfied customer eventually got fed up, paid, and left. My manicurist began complaining to me about how that lady was being "picky for no reason" and I gave her the benefit of the doubt and brushed it off as just a high maintenance customer. However it turns out all that lady had wanted was a decent job done on her nails- something neither her nor I received. I have had the sns nail system done on my nails religiously since I discovered it, and my nails have grown long and healthy because of it. Generally they look beautiful and natural. When I walked out of that salon today, it was in complete discontent. My nails look like someone globbed on a bunch of hot glue- the powder and clear coat is piled on so high my finger nails don't even look like fingernails anymore. The surface resembles rolling hills it's so uneven, and the finishing clear coat was swiped on so quickly and carelessly that you can see each individual brushstroke. In fact, some areas were missed by the clear coat altogether so you can see the matte finish of the dip powder itself. Far from the smooth, glass-like surface I that they generally resemble. When asked if I wanted to shorten my nail length, I replied no, that I wanted to keep growing them out, however they are now barely past my finger tip. And speaking of the tips of my nails, they were so slanted that I had to fix them with a nail file myself once I got home. All in all, I am horrified with the service I received today- not that I could express that to them there on the spot after the mockery I witnessed to the last customer that expressed her dissatisfaction. For anyone that is looking to get SNS nails done in this area, I'd suggest my usual place, Lacquer Me Up if you want a good job done, because you certainly will not get that here
