  • We came to Montreal for my friend's birthday trip. We looked through Yelp and picked this highly rated restaurant to celebrate my friend's birthday. It was a big disappointment. The service was just ok. They do have menus in French and English but the one in English doesn't have prices on it. The food was meh. We ordered bone marrow, foie gras, oysters, country soup, fish soup, quail, steak tartare and pork. The bone marrow and foie gras were greasy. I am not a fan of those dishes. Oysters was fresh and tasty. Country soup was ok. Fish soup was kinda watery and weak. For the main dishes, the steak tartare was my fav. It was nicely flavored and the fries came with it were crispy and good. My friend like the quail. The sauce mixed with rice was good. The pork was recommended by the waiter but it was not as good as I expected. The pork itself was tender but the sauce is not that good. Their prices were very reasonable but I do t think I will come again. I'd rather pay a little bit more to have food that make me satisfied.
