Very disappointed in ABF. They called my cousin yesterday to schedule a delivery, he told them he was not expecting something and had just recently had something delivered by them. They said they had two separate deliveries for him. He was going out of town but asked if I would be able to come to his house to accept the delivery and I agreed. I took a few hours out of my day today to be home so that I could accept the delivery. When they showed up there was a different name on the delivery and I let them know that. They then checked the box and there was that same different name and a different addresses in Texas. After about 15 minutes of the delivery people speaking with there supervisor they figured out that it was a mistake.
I'm very upset that even after we told them we were not expecting something they assured us we had two separate deliveries. Then I wasted two hours of my day so I could be here to accept a delivery that was a mistake on the part of ABF. I called to voice my frustrating to the ABF supervisor and he simply said sorry and gave excuses as to how this could have happened. Point being my time was wasted by the negligence of ABF and they should compensate me for this.
