I have always been a Nissan guy but have been interested in the Subaru brand for many years. Many of my friends own Subaru vehicles and are happy with them. I dropped off my Nissan to be serviced a few weeks back and decided to walk down the road to look at the Subaru Forester. I really wasn't planning on getting a new vehicle for another year or two but wanted to look around and kill some time while the Nissan was getting serviced.
I arrived at the dealership about 8:15 and they were getting the vehicles and everything ready. I was approached by Bryan Meyer who was unlocking the vehicles. He told me to look around at my leisure and he would check back with me and answer any questions. We spent a good 45 min talking about the Forester and Subaru brand. He talked me into a test drive and I was hooked at that point. I knew a Forester was the vehicle for me. I still thought it would be another year or two before getting a vehicle.
Bryan Meyer was a phenomenal Product Specialist. He was very patient and new what I wanted more than I did. He was very skilled and patient and a master of his craft. We probably talked over three hours during the day and he was always spot on with his information. He recommended the right trim line for me knowing what the sweet spot was. Bryan Meyer also helped me get the most bang for my trade and made me a deal that I could not refuse.
The entire dealership was very friendly and efficient. They immediately got the Forester ready for me and completed the paperwork in about 15 min. One thing I really appreciated was that all of my negotiating to include the warranty and finance options was done with Bryan Meyer. I'm not a fan of having to go through whole finance process not knowing how much the extended warranty and other services will cost. Bryan Meyer did not try to sell me anything I did not want. He also did not play the numbers game and try to hides things. Everything was very straightforward and easy to understand.
Bryan Meyer and the entire Subaru Dealership has been there after the sale also. They have all answered my many questions and have been very professional. We have purchased other vehicles through Findlay dealerships and like how they treat their customers. I was initially concerned that there is only one Subaru Dealership in town as I'm a fan of comparison and competition. I could not be any happier with the entire car buying process.
One final note, I can say with 100% certainty that Bryan Meyer is by FAR the best sales person I've ever encountered in all facets of my life. He worked very hard before and after the sale and understands how to serve customers. By the way, I love my new 2017 Subaru Forester!
