On 1/21 my daughter was transported by ambulance to Thompson Peak Hospital she was dehydrated and collapsed at work. We had a terrible experience the admission lady walked in, looked at me and said " don't worry I'm 40 years old and my mother still takes care of me, then proceeded to get insurance card from me. When the nurse assistant came in to take my daughter to have x- ray and rule out a blood clot in the lungs she got upset because i asked where she was taking her, after they brought her back the nurse walked in but didn't acknowledge me after a few minutes i asked if it would be ok to get my daughter something to eat and drink ( i wanted to go to the cafeteria to buy juice and maybe some crackers) as she had mentioned how hungry she was the nurse said she would get her something by then we had been there about 90 minutes and my daughter had ct scan x- rays blood work and so forth after about 30 minutes the nurse and the doctor came to discharge my daughter, when my daughter asked about the drink and/or a snack the nurse replied " I was just kidding" she was given paperwork to sign and discharged. Needless to say i was upset and called the main office the next day i left a message for Susie who called back right away after playing phone tag we finally made contact and when i explained the situation she proceeded to ask me " isn't that what mothers do with their teenage daughters here in Scottsdale " after i explained about their admission lady's comment. My daughter is 19 btw but i did have the insurance card and i rushed to her side as soon as they called me since i work right around the corner from this Hospital needless to say we will never go back to this place!!!
