I went to AZ Institute for help with Plantar Fasciitis. X-rays of my foot were taken but the person attending me was clearly not knowledgeable of the process. I was taken back into the exam room and then had to return because some angles were not taken the first time. In both instances I had to hobble down the hallway, shoeless, and try to catch up to the tech. I was later examined by a Doctor and told to come back in three weeks as they needed to check and see if my insurance would cover inserts. I returned three weeks later, was finally called in to the exam room and was asked questions about why I was there by the same attendant from my previous visit. It was clear that she had not looked at my chart. Then the doctor came in and asked if I was having any pain and wanted to know I was there. it was clear he had not read my chart, if any notes had even been made. I told him that I had been in and was told to come back after they had checked with my insurance. He left and in a few minutes the attendant came back to say that they had not checked but that they would do it today and get back to me. She also said I would not be charged for that visit - no kidding. I cannot speak to the medical help of this group, but their systems are clearly lacking. I would not return and would advise others to seek a foot care specialist that does not operate like a factory.
