  • We have followed Karate Dave from his previous offerings in the community to his current dojo in Peoria in order to continue the excellent teaching for our daughter and son. From my experiences, I believe the very best characteristics of studying the martial arts are found at this school. It also feels good to support a family business rather than a corporation. Dave connects with the students in a very meaningful way, firm but encouraging. His wife Lisa helps with camps, birthday parties, and works in the front office. Even their son is involved as an upper level student and assistant. Classes are well supervised, structured, and with time and demonstration of self control, the kids can even learn how to spar with pads! Awesome!
