First off, "my bad" for not checking YELP first before going with Century Link Prism.
I am in the process of leaving before the end of the 30 day satisfaction period. Century Link is like a recalcitrant child and is holding my phone number hostage with a myriad of ever changing reasons. Only representatives of their "Care" Center are able to have somewhat true responses. If you get a Loyalty or Retention representive claiming they can do "Care" situations, insist on being transferred or hang up and try again - you want a specific "CARE" representative. They can find information without the CL violins playing to keep you as a customer with sales promises.
I am leaving and trying to get my telephone number released back so COX can once again take it over. The CL child just will not let it go - excuse after excuse. I am supposed to have it Monday. We shall see.
COX played with my monthly rate, but coming back as a new customer I was able to negotiate a reasonable bundle rate and I will say their Customer Service is superior, the information you get may be unneerving, but compared to CL - they are saints. Stay away from Century Link, the people of Arizona deserve better choices. Trust those of us who have suffered and run for the hills away from this company.
Call them and pllay the phone get switched around game - it will keep you busy for at least an hour before you get the semblance of an intelligent answer. Andrew in Phoenix Retention is condescending and arrogrant on a good day-
Well, it has been 2.5 weeks and COX got my number and has reported it back. Now from that moment Ihave received 3 separate ivoiced - all with differing amounts. I called Billing and Customer Care several times and hve now had a representative issue paperwork to have the account handled. After another invoince Iwent on line and had a "chat" with a representative who assured me all had been "handled" to my satisfaction - I PRINTED OUT THE CONVERSATION. Good move. Another invoice, another call. Now working with "Retribution" Department. VERY professional and they are iinvestigating the entire situation, including all the phone call recordings.
Got a call after "Retribution" review - I am no longer a customer and all charges have been handled to my satisfaction.
