Everyone at PPTS is fantastic! Amy at the front desk makes every effort to schedule appointments at the customers convenience and is very efficient and friendly. Heidi is a very caring and wonderful Physical Therapist/Clinical Director. The assistants are ready to offer help with the exercises and keep things on track.
I first visited after surgery to replace 2 torn ligaments in my ankle. After 8 weeks of no weight on my left foot (thank goodness for knee scooters) I was unable to walk in a boot and was hopping with the help of a walker. Heidi assessed the problem and was able to adjust the boot so I had some feeling in my foot and could distribute my weight properly. She even went to the parking lot and taught me how to navigate curbs, getting in & out of my vehicle, etc. as I progressed from walker, boot to brace and eventually nothing. Heidi not only helped me understand what was happening with my progress, she also showed me how to prevent this same injury in my other ankle. Her healing touch and sense of humor make her a true pleasure to be around.
While I was being treated I saw many other patients being treated for a variety of issues (knees, neck, hip, back, etc.) and we were all treated as individual people with full lives, not just the injured part. Exercises and treatments are custom tailored for each person and the staff is always very respectful, courteous and even fun. I am so grateful to Heidi and everyone at PPTS.
