| - I just happened to pass by this place last week and had heard of it on yelp so i made a date with my friend to come here. I'm so glad I did!
How rare is it in Vegas anymore to truly find a DEAL?!? This place was full of them! So many wares, so little time!
We stayed for three hours and would've stayed longer but it started to rain. Thats ok, we still had fun.
There were tons of toy stands for our kids to keep them interested, plus a moonbounce and a mini buccaneer ride (pirate ship). $3 each and the moonbounce was a generous 15 minutes.
There were a ton of food vendors. We chose a spot across from the bandstand, where lively music was playing. The kids each got a burger or hotdog for $1.50. They got chips and a drink. Then me and my friend split the bbq combo plate, which was 10.50, included ribs and bbq chicken AND 2 sides and was more than enough for both of us.
$40 for 5 kids and 2 adults. A little under $6 each. Not too shabby!
More than anything I just really enjoyed the atmosphere. It was so much fun to find what was so similar to the flea markets of back east. I was grinning from ear to eat all day.
And I didnt break the bank. The kids were free to get in, me & my friend were $1.50 each to get in, i gave my kids $5 each to spend, and they each got a few things and didnt even spend all their money. If it hadn't been raining and i didnt have kids with me i would've been able to hunt more, but i did get a video for $1, my friend got some CUTE clothes for $1 each, and i felt like it was a morning well spent.
I will definitely be back.
Oh and tables are only $30 each so if you have some junk to unload you might think about coming here.
For what it is, a quirky market with all kinds of interesting stuff - 5 stars.
