  • I love the Linq Promenenade and thought to try the hotel. The location is convenient for the stuff I enjoy on the strip like the High Roller ($10 off tickets if you present your Linq card key), Venetian Canal Shops, Caesar's, the Linq Promenade and the Piano Bar at Harrah's. Also, Hash House A Go Go or however you say it is pretty damn good for late night food standards. The gambling scene is also cool and has $5 tables for anyone on a budget or needs to learn the games. Ultimately, the places/venues around the Linq are awesome, but the Linq itself is just short of an OK hotel. Parking is terrible in general for this part of the strip and you'll be better off just paying the $10 per day at whatever hotel you stay at, but maybe not here at the Linq. The Linq uses some parking company called "Ace" or something like that. You can be trapped in the parking garage anywhere between 20-45 minutes just trying to leave because they have one exit and there always seems to be someone having an issue with their exit ticket or disputing their charge. The walk from your car is also a small journey in it of itself, which I now know due in part to the Ace company being in charge of parking. On Christmas Eve, I spent about 45 minutes trying to park to no avail, at which point I parked outside behind the High Roller (which apparently also charges fees for parking). Getting my bags to my car the next day was a hassle so I asked the front desk to refund my $10 for that day's parking. After 45 minutes of cajoling and finagling with the front desk and the Ace management the Manager refunded us the $10 plus gave us some comp time (like $30). There was another guest beside us making the same complaint at the time and it helped us make our point. Most other days it took us 15-20 minutes to exit the garage. The Linq Guest Services Manager was very kind and patient (and handling a few other disgruntled customers). She was the saving grace of this experience and why I didn't rate the Linq at 2 Stars. The rooms are OK to Good in quality, not too fancy but modern enough. My lady wasn't too impressed but I would say that it met my expectations so do with that what you will. I'll always gravitate towards the Linq Promenade but after checking out their hotel (which is by most standards Ok) I am most likely gonna check out Treasure Island (no parking fees, relatively close to the Promenade and Venetian/Caesar's).
