| - I hate even giving this place one star, and only reason to justify it is because MY food was not horribly bad. I got the pita quesadilla, specifically because it was one of the only items under $12. I do not understand how this restaurant can charge so much for basic meals. $11 for a plain burger, plus $1.30 if you want french fries instead potato chips. $4.50 to add a small side salad, $16 for chicken fried chicken that was more breading than meat (my husband literally had to scrape off about 1/2 of the breading).
The waitress was kind, but misunderstood my mom (even admitted she misunderstood) about free refills for a drink. My mom asked if it had free refills, she said yes. So my mom got refills, and the bill came out and charged her $6 or $7 per refill. She tried to dispute it, but the manager was completely rude: he was shaking his head "no" the whole time she was explaining herself, and he kept saying "I'm not going to BUY YOU A DRINK"- as if she was trying to get out of paying for drinks when she really did nothing wrong. He ended up walking away and putting his backs to us after saying he would not give us any discount (off food or drinks- yet it was the waitress' fault). My dad had to literally yell for him to give us his name because he wouldn't respond. He was extremely rude and unprofessional. I am a manager of a QSR and was APPALLED at his actions. We spent almost $200 on sub par food and he couldn't remove refills due to a waiter's error.
Additionally, the bathroom was disgusting. No toilet sleeves, paper towels were empty, and there was fecal matter on the toilet I went to use. The floor is caving in inside the stalls, and paper was thrown everywhere.
Overall: bad food, bad atmosphere unless you're 4-8 years old (way too many crying 1-3 year olds when the lightening and thunder starts up), and rude manager. Will NEVER come here again.
