  • If I had to pay full price for this place and was going for the first time, I'd probably give it less stars, and I'm not sure I'd even come back. We literally live within walking distance to the park so I sprung for season passes. I'm glad I did, but only because I live so close and I can go for an hour when there's nothing else to do. The plusses: - It's very clean. -the 50s theme is pretty cool - It's a lot more family-friendly than most places in Vegas -The staff are polite -The slides are fun -Its close by -There are few tourists, it's mostly locals. I regularly run into people I know. -The arcade has a neat system using a card so you don't have coins OR tickets -There are family restrooms -There's a smoking area -they have DOLE WHIP!!! The minuses: -It's small. As in as small as Beyonces' bikini. -There aren't a lot of slides -Even when the park isn't very full the lines for the slides are at least a half hour long (probably because there aren't enough slides!) -There's not a lot of shade. I bet first aide gets a run for their money here. -They don't let you bring in outside food OR drinks -The food & drinks are twice as much as you'd pay elsewhere -They charge for parking -It's not very handicapped accessible -There wasn't any notification about specials for season park holders so I missed some of the fun this summer -There's only 3 things for little kids to do (Kids area, lazy river, wave pool) -The arcade is tiny, overpriced, and several games are broken. -The cabanas are overrated, overpriced, and we were told we couldn't sit on the chairs in front of one even though the cabana was empty - a lot of the lifeguards are teens/early twenties. People regularly butt in line and no one does anything about it. I would suggest: More waterslides Less cabanas More "extra" stuff like face painting, temporary tattoos, sand art, hair braiding, etc. better & cheaper food & drinks Make sure all season pass holders are signed up for emails Better system for keeping track of lines (people butt in line and no one does anything) Another smoking area on the other side of the park, and add more shade to the current smoking area Add more family restrooms to the other side of the park More lifeguards (Lets hope they already did that!) I'm not sure I'll get season passes again next year. I'll think about it.
