I love these permanent Farmer's Markets. We don't have many like this in SoCal so whenever I travel I almost always make a point to stop in and, at least, look around. Ok, maybe I buy stuff. Ok, I definitely buy stuff.
There are plenty of fresh fruit and vegetable vendors along with a large amount of honey vendors. There are also eateries inside so you can grab a quick bite as you walk around. We stopped at the Portuguese bakery and picked up some custard pies and they were delicious. We also stopped at a Poutine place and it was probably some of the best Poutine I had in Montreal.
Take plenty of cash as most places don't accept card. Wear comfortable shoes and plan on just leisurely strolling...and sampling...and buying.
