  • City services are a joke. Traffic signals go broken for years. Roads don't get plowed. Icy streets don't get salted. The division of police is under investigation from the US Dept of Justice. Police lack simple equipment like stop sticks, and the city has so poorly managed their budget that they lack funding for critical gear like keeping their helicopter flying. The fire department had some major scandal where firefighters would pay others to do no-show jobs. I witnessed an EMS medic smoking in an ambulance. Roads are in ruins. Oh, and they've blown over $1B in your tax money to basically destroy the airport. The airport dealings should be the subject of a federal inquiry, if this happened anywhere else, all of the airport officials would be in prison for what goes on at that place routinely.
