Update from prior 4-star review:
I returned 4 weeks after my first cut. As mentioned, John, who originally cut my hair, did a very good job!
I stopped by to make an appointment and was greeted by Larisa, the other Barber, who said she could take me right away. She asked "how did you get it cut last time?". I said, "well, I'm not sure - it was done right here by John - 4 weeks ago, so I want the same". She asked "What did he use?" I said "I don't know - but it was clippers on the sides and scissors on top".
Larisa buzzed me. All over - and very unevenly. The right side of my head has longer hair than the left. I should have known I was in trouble when I opened my eyes every once in a while during the cut and would see her in the mirror - staring out the window into the parking lot rather than paying attention to my hair. The Car Waxer they use for a back massage hurt my back more than it relaxed it - and the single blade razor used to clean my neck was dull - leaving scratch marks when I got home.
Maybe she was having a bad day - I don't know. But this is my experience and I felt I should share. I hate my hair cut. I am 50 year old with a full set of hair - and I now have to GLUE my hair in place (with product I don't usually use) each day for the next 4-6 weeks until it grows out enough for someone else to cut it.
