  • This is an OK restaurant. If you're looking for great that are plenty of other options. I have tried Graze twice both with the same moderate results. Both times the entrees were a bit underwhelming. Both times for brunch. Minimal wait times for a seat draw me in, the wait times for food turn me off. I had the breakfast sandwich, it was as good as you'd expect from a quick service restaurant, I expected more. Small for $10-12. The second time I ordered the biscuits and gravy. I didn't expect the best biscuits and gravy. What I was served was a single biscuit with a few tiny pieces of chicken in a cream sauce (as opposed to a thick gravy). The sauce was runny and mostly bland. The fried egg was ok, again bland. My wife had the burrito the first time. It tasted great, but was cold in the middle. That seems weird for a scratch made to order restaurant. The second time she ordered pancakes they were tiny thin, a bit bland and covered in a heavy coat of powder. The bacon was dynamite, very good, as is the Kickapoo coffee. In the end my problem is the food is ok, too expensive, and I hate to send the food back because that is wasting food. I love that Graze uses local fresh ingredients, but it's Madison and that is not unique.
