| - We have been to the drive through two times before this and both experiences went well. Today we went inside for the first time. We wanted to have a drink and snack together during our morning break. What a terrible decision this was. When we arrived the cashier did not greet us. Having recently moved here from Seattle, where Starbucks is home and their employees take great pride in their work, this lack of greeting should have been a red flag. As we went to order the cashier cut my girlfriend off a number of times. I attempted to order a breakfast sandwich. The cashier replied "what?" in a very rude demeanor. My girlfriend attempted to order a short non fat vanilla latte. We were originally rung up for a grande iced vanilla latte. When I asked why, the cashier snapped back, "that's what you want." I corrected her that we were ordering a short. She then proceeded to ring us up for a tall iced latte. I again corrected her, and asked for a short. At this point the cashier walked over to the cups, picked up a tall cup, and said "yeah this is a small." We replied and asked for a short, (which is smaller than the tall). She stomped back to the register and charged us for a short vanilla latte. (She forgot to add the non fat). When our drink was ready and we realized it was not non fat, we asked the barista to remake it. He promptly went to remake it and the cashier chimed in, "yeah that's what I said, non fat." We also ordered a Classic Oatmeal. There was hardly any water in the oatmeal. The gentleman in line behind us attempted to order an iced latte. He was given a tall brewed coffee. He politely corrected the cashier and she replied, "well you paid for a tall brewed." There were 7 or 8 employees working and for some reason the manager still had to step in to make food orders. The cashier did not take names for the food orders so many customers' orders got switched up and people touched other customers food and then put it back on the counter. Overall this was a terrible experience. I'm not sure if this experience is a result of lack of training, an employee having a bad day, or just poor customer service skills. We will be visiting the Starbucks on Warm Springs from now on, as we had before this location was built. Going to Starbucks is supposed to be a break from the crazy day. This experience was beyond stressful.
