| - So went here the other day with a friend of mine. They were packed as always, but we were promptly seated at a patio table, which is great because they have a beautiful view!
Our server was AWESOME! Very friendly and knowledgable.
My girlfriend ordered a couple of sushi rolls and I ordered the shells and cheese small plate.
Her food showed up almost twenty minutes before mine...but I know mine takes a bit longer, I guess they just didn't time it out well.
When my food finally comes I try to cut into it with my knife and couldn't (it's pasta...), it was severely over cooked.
I let the server know and he said he'd be happy to bring me another one.
Fifteen minutes later a manager comes to the table and tells me that he's sorry I didn't like the dish, but after speaking to the chef, it was not cooked improperly, but that it was supposed to be like that (something I found interesting, since I get that same thing every time I go there, and not once was the pasta so hard that I couldn't cut through it with a knife...). He then told me that he preferred not to bring me that same dish, since I "don't like how they prepare it." He insisted I pick a different item instead of the one I wanted, saying also that if I still insisted on the dish I ordered, that it would take another 20 min.
In the end I went with something completely different, the tuna tacos. They were good, but not what I wanted. It was also really frustrating that it took over 45 minutes from the time that I first ordered before I was actually able to eat...
The manager was nice enough to take care of my food, but after my food being severely over cooked, the manager trying to play it off as if that's how it's supposed to be cooked, and then telling me he wasn't going to bring me what I ordered and instead pressuring me to pick something else...don't think I'm going to go back here.
