  • A new player in the Shops of Don Mills plaza, this place is drool worthy. Late one night while walking to a restaurant I passed by this store quickly - at first I thought it was a restaurant because of all the candles and tables that I could see from outside the window. In trying to determine what this place was a staff person just happened to be walking in and advised it was a furniture store! When I finally got back here to check this place out I was impressed. Low lighting, candles and Indian music softly playing in the background reminded me of a spa experience. Such an calm and inviting environment. Maybe that makes people more apt to buy things? Who knows...who cares! This is a Quebec store that has recently expanded into Ontario with this location being the 4th one. Walk in and you feel the calmness and see the beauty of the pieces. Wood furniture from tables and desks to headboards to everything else you can think of. Clean lines and gorgeous types of wood (fell in love with some Indian Rosewood pieces) this is a great place to pick up that one focal point for your room. You'll have it for years because all the shapes are classic and cleaned line. Price wise for what you get I don't think it's too bad - the desk I fell in love with was $750 but they were having a boxing week sale that was 55% off this piece! A unique piece of function and art in your home. Unfortunately space wise the desk was too large for my space but I'm still sad a week later that I have no room for it. A staff person advised that they have a good turnover rate so lots of new pieces on a regular basis. I will definitely continue to check this place out.
