  • Everything about this experience has been frustrating. I signed up for an actual appointment for one of their appraisal days, showed up on time, and then spent the better part of 2 hours watching as they equally took from the pool of "appointments" and "people who just showed up with random junk". In those two hours I watched almost every person walk away without J. Levine taking on their items. When it came our turn, they took all three and it turns out 2 of them were items of considerable value. The real frustration came after the auctions (2 separate, for the 3 items). I had to contact them in every instance and practically beg them for my cut of the auction price. My contract with them said "30 days" after the auction. The first auction I waited 60 days to complain. The second I waited 90 days to complain. Ridiculous. I get that they're set up to have success, especially online, but these were MY items that they were making money off of, and I'm afraid if I hadn't pushed the issue I would never be paid! (Still waiting on the money for the last item, btw.)
