We were excited to come here. Friends did say it was fantastic. Our experience was different. Food was average at best. Wife got the grouper and didn't care for it. I got the lobster gnocchi and it was a bit salty. I also ordered the tomahawk porkchop. It was burnt to a char on the outside. Smoked Manhattan was average. I've had better drinks at other places. The dessert menu was uninspiring. We ended up going to hillstone for their sundae. Service was average. Our meal was $150, and at that price point there are a lot of better options such as any Hillstone restaurant, Virtu, Monarch Cafe, Elements and Olive & Ivy to name a few. I wanted to like this place. If you're debating on a place to go, House Brasserie would not be my first choice.
