  • So if u work in the food service industry more so BOH or cook Standard Restaurant Supply has nice options all around. I recently changed jobs and was looking to get some new tools from knives to little stuff like whip etc. They have lot of options when it comes to each equipment was looking for on my visit. They do have nice range of prices comes to selection. It came to knives section I would have give it three star average because they really don't carry much of the higher end items. Not that I was looking for chefs knife but the brands they have not top of the lines ones. In the case they have few knives higher end some japanese blades. Still not the top end name brands. In reality it more bargain concept rather then william sonoma. So if looking for high end not the place to go for culinary needs. It is refreshing especially if on budget come to Standard Restaurant Supply get decent quality stuff and with options. It one that actually came back second time get few more items. The service for me was five stars. The people there were friendly both visits. Asked if needed help finding things most part soon as I walked in started looking around. My first visit got few things and lady at counter notice starting build up so polite said take those up counter hold for me. She like this way more feel more free looking around. Customer service point if that not five star on point. Come on. Like I said if looking for the global or Wusthof or Shun or more. Not the place but looking for reasonable price and decent quality should give Standard Restaurant Supply shot.
