| - Honestly, I've never had a bad experience here. I know, I know, this is not a usual reaction for any DMV anywhere. But, it's true! The employees have always been helpful and courteous, and if there is anything you're not certain about, the greeter slash "answerer of all questions DMV" helps you get to the right place. But, no matter how helpful they are here, you yourself have to help you help you! In other words, be prepared. Go online, find out what you need to bring with you and if you're still not sure, call before you go. Lastly, PLEASE, do yourselves a favor and schedule an appointment. I can't stress this enough. The check-in line when you get there may seem super long, but wait! there's actually a designated line (with hardly anyone in it, there was only one person in line when I arrived compared to the 60 deep in the "non-appointment makers" line) for those who make appointments ahead of time. From the time I checked in (to help my daughter renew her license for the first time) to the time we left the clerk's desk it was a whopping 20 minutes. Would've been shorter, but we arrived 15 minutes before our actual scheduled time. From our actual scheduled time it was only 9 minutes! Nine! Neuf! Nueve! 9! Not even enough time to finish popcorn from the snack shop. Yay DMV! I'm more afraid of going to the dentist now than I am the DMV.
