  • I am completely unhappy with the service I have received for my son at Abel dental. About 4 to 6 months ago he had a tooth pain and are normal dentist was not open. Able dental was recommended by a family member. So we went in and found out my son needed a root canal. So we had the root canal done. They did a mold of his tooth so that they could get a cap made. I assumed I would get a call in a week or so to bring him back to have the cap put on. I didn't and I actually totally forgot about it until about a month or so later when I received a text message from them for his normal cleaning. I immediately called and asked them about the cap and they said oh yeah bring him in tomorrow will have it and will put it in and give him a cleaning. Then they called me back like 2 hours later and said they could not find the cap and made me make an appointment for the following week. Come to find out that I guess the mold to the cap was broken at the lab and they never bothered to remake it or let me know about it. So they called me and told me to bring my son back in to have another mold done, which I did. I was told this apt would only take about 15 or 20 minutes. After about an hour it was finally done. They told me they would put a rush on it and come back in 2 days to have it put on and get his cleaning. So today was his apt to have that done. I called in the am because I needed to know how long this apt would take as I do work and they are quite far from me. They told me it would take me 45 minutes to an hour and then approximately 20 minutes after that phone call I got a text message to confirm my sons appointment. I then showed up at the office at his apt time only to find out they still did not have the cap back from the lab. I was not happy and asked why they did not tell me that when I called. We do not live close and I have now missed 2 days of work. They could not answer. They said they could clean him today. My son did not want to sit there today and then again on Monday so he asked if we could just get cleaning and cap put in on Monday. They Said no as they don't have anyone to clean him Monday. This was totally unacceptable. I will have to go back Monday to get the cap but will never return after that. Absolutely unacceptable!
