It's 2012. In an era of disposable junk shoes made by overseas sweatshops, how does a place like this even still exist?! I don't know, but if you happen to own any *quality* footwear that needs a little attention, Gino is a godsend. He's a sweet Italian grandfather who seems to have escaped the passage of time for about the last 50 years or so, at least. He does excellent work and very cheaply, though not very fast. He is a true craftsman and I will be sad when the inevitable happens one day and his little shop closes down.
