| - Oh, you fancy huh?
I must eat here when I'm in Vegas. It has a very nice atmosphere -- classy and some what bougie, but comfortable. Ladies night, a small celebration, or for some one on one with that special person... it's a nice little getaway located inside the Venetian.
Their steak frites are not to die for, so what keeps me coming back for more?
1. Pistachios with their bread & butter. I love bread. Especially when it's warm and fresh. The waiter will come by and leave the bread on your table (european style) with the butter and a small cup of pistachios. You can order some marinated olives to go with this set up, but there's something about this quirky combination that gets my appetite going -- who needs to order an appetizer?
2. Saumon Poele. That's how you say delicious, seared salmon in Bouchon-ese. Perfectly seared and served over vegetables. The portion is small, but each bite is perfection.
3. Macaroni au gratin. MmmMac and cheese. Enough said.
4. Pot de Crème. Infused custard - It's rich in flavor and light in texture. I could share, but I don't.. it's all for me.
5. BRUNCH BRUNCH BRUNCH! Chicken & Waffles. I know it's not like eating at Roscoe's, but apparently the French got this down.
A few notes: Their steaks aren't the best. So unless you must have the dead cow, try something else. The brussel sprouts are on the salty side -- maybe it's the pieces of bacon in there or just the way they season it, but whatever it is... you'll be thirsty later.
