  • The Chihuly exhibit at the Desert Botanical Garden is crazy cool. That said though, I probably couldn't justify paying $22 to enter the garden just for this exhibit...but using a student discount made it worth the trip. The garden itself features many Arizona native plants which was pretty nice to explore. There are 4 different paths in the garden, so there is plenty to explore! Like most others have pointed out, make sure you stay hydrated while you walk around the garden...it can get pretty hot. Also, apply sunscreen liberally. I would say the garden takes about 2.5 hours to comfortably explore.
