We really enjoyed this museum and spent a couple of hours here. You pay at the gift shop than proceed to an attached building with a display about the Vegas area from prehistoric time to WWI. It was very interesting and I found myself reading pretty much everything and looking at every single display. Plenty to see outside too; info about the Paiutes, pioneer days, a train station, 1/2 mile nature trail and so much more. Our favorite was the homes from the 1900's along a tree lined street. I absolutely loved this part of the museum. You can walk into each home and they are furnished appropriately. It's a great place to spend some time and we learned so much. Open 7 days a week 9am-4:30pm, $2.00 admission fee and only $1.00 for seniors, now how can you beat that!
