If you want the convenience of having someone come to your location and need to have confidence in the job that person will do, then working with Scot is a safe bet. In my case he was responsive, courteous, and did the job properly.
If there are parts involved I would encourage you to round them up yourself, because while he is willing to do it in conjunction with the repairs (with no mark up), only you truly know exactly what brand and type of parts you want to use on your bike.
His rates are competitive and he didn't throw the kitchen sink at me in terms of needless repair add-ons or up- sells like the dealerships tend to attempt to implement through scare tactics. Plus, having a qualified technician fixing your bike in front of you is about as transparent as it gets.
My 2007 BMW K1200R Sport is running smoother after Scot tuned it up at 12k and replacedthe front tire.
I wouldn't hesitate to call The Bikesmith again when needed.
