| - Wow, Such a beautiful hotel.
I booked this hotel for my son's birthday party. Amy, the manager was great about communicating with me about any certain accommodations I had inquired about. Was very impressed by that.
Michael the front desk guy was super friendly and inviting. Hands down I give Amy & Michael five stars for their customer service, you guys rock!
Rooms were big & spacious, beds were super comfy, the pool & hot tub were great. I walked in to find a card & balloons saying happy birthday to my son. That was VERY sweet of the staff to do that for my son. How many other hotels would have gone above and beyond to do this? Customer service does not get better than that!
Breakfast was delicious also.
The only reason why I did not give this a 5 star was because of how a situation was handled concerning maintenance.
My kid had choked on some water while swimming and had thrown up a small amount of birthday cake into the pool, i notified the front desk to contact maintenance because I felt that was the right thing to do and I assumed they would have to shortly close the pool down while they cleaned/scooped it out.
Shirley, the lady at the front desk (who was very unsympathetic and very rude to my guest and I) then informed me that the entire pool is going to be shut down for the rest of the night because they did not have a maintenance person available until Saturday morning. However, I understand she did what she was suppose to do under the circumstances.
With that said...For a Friday night, I feel maintenance should have been present to attend to this issue, not only was it disappointing for our party to not be able to swim for the rest of the night, but also the other members that were staying at the hotel were not able to swim either. I felt terrible and was embarrassed. Stuff happens, but I hope this was just an isolated incident with maintenance.
Other than that. Great hotel rooms & Excellent customer service from Amy & Michael & the breakfast staff.
