My boyfriend and I visited Villa Antonios' on an early Saturday evening. We were the first ones there for dinner. I had been told a couple years ago they had good food. I never made it two years ago and this was my first visit. The service was good, however, like I said, we were the only ones there for a bit so at some points the waiters were asking us the same questions because they did not know that we had already been asked. I was very disappointed what we paid for dinner and the quality of food. The bottom line was the food was not good but it was not bad either, but for the price I expected much much more quality (flavor) of food. The only part of food that we should have returned was my boyfriend's salad. It was wilted. And it was $9. The other food items were pretty unflavorful. I ordered soup. The bowl was huge however the portion where the soup was poured in was very small. The soup was $9 as well. Our two entrees were so so. We had the scallops and the grouper. Again, very unflavorful for the prices we paid. Our bill was over $100 with tip and we did not even have any alcoholic beverages. I was disappointed. I thought it was going to be a romantic night with a great dinner. And also when we left, I thought for the prices and caliber of restaurant they would have made a better effort to see how our meal was or anything to ensure repeat business. I also did not find the oval hole in the ceiling were the duct work came out of very appealing.
