Szalay's is a family-owned farm since 1931, located along the Peninsula Towpath. There is plenty of car parking spots in the rear and racks for your bicycle if you pedal to the shop too. The courtyard was loaded with rocking chairs and benches to enjoy your fresh fruit purchases with your family.
Szalay's is our go-to farmer's market! Packed with fresh produce, homemade jams and jellies, homemade salsas and dressings, and juices! We stopped today for fresh summertime vegetables. We ended up buying sweet peppers, onions, beefstake tomatoes, corn, bakery goodies, and pickling cukes. We asked our cashier and the corn is from Georgia since it is too early for local sweet corn.
