| - What a disappointment! The place is dirty,, old and run down. You can only order from the outside, so one must stand in the blazing sun or pouring ran to place an order. The Chicago Dog is a disgrace. Coming from Chicago, I know a good Chicago Dog when I see one. A proper Chicago Dog should be a Vienna Dog that pops when you bite into it. It should be on a Steamed Poppy Seed Bun, No Ketchup Ever, Sport Peppers, Yellow Mustard, Chopped Onions, Nuclear Green Pickle Relish, several Tomato Wedges, a crisp Dill Pickle Wedge, Sport Peppers and Celery Salt. Apparently, nobody from Michael's has ever visited Chicago, as theirs is on a plain unsteamed bun. the dog doesn't seem to pop, the onions are not properly chopped, the pickles are chopped slices, they seem to forget the Celery Salt and Sport Peppers unless you ask for them. Also, you may get ketchup unless you ask for it to be omitted. The tomatoes are wafer thin slices instead of wedges. The service ranges from indifferent to uncaring. The last straw is that when one uses a credit or debit card instead of cash, they charge an additional 20 cent "convenience fee" that is convenient for them, not the customer! Imagine charging a customer 20 cents for something that is more convenient! Avoid this place at all costs, as it is right down there with Jimmy Johns as a bad food experience!
