  • The best way to describe this place is a 'Diamond in the Rough'. I really enjoy a great fine dining experience and based on previous experiences (Tableau and Daniel Boulud Brasserie at the Wynn) I couldn't help but judge a book by it's cover and cringe when we drove up to a strip mall. My cousin attends the Cordon Bleu and his chef owns and runs this restaurant and we went to try it out. It was a bit uncomfortable being dressed up walking to this restaurant it just looks like a normal faced strip mall restaurant. But as soon as you walk in it is real nice and a typically dim lit environment the ambiance is relaxing. The service is phenomenal being a lady it's always a joy to be treated as one should be. My chair was pulled out and gently pushed in. I was always served first (it erks me when people aren't taught manners and courtesy) this wait staff has been trained to proper manners. The menu had a great selection it was really hard to chose. I went with the prix fixe option crab boulette (basically a crab cake), halibut linguist and coconut bread pudding. It was all so delicious! My bf had brick chicken (so moist and wonderfully seasoned), his bro had the scallops (yummy perfectly cooked), and my cousin also had the prix fixe option sweet corn soup, sea bass and flourless chocolate cake (yumm!). Bottles of wine were 50% off so we had to check out the menu and let me tell you only great restaurants carry Cakebread so we enjoyed a great bottle of chardonnay. Like I said the service was phenomenal when any of us left the table either the napkins were folded or when we'd come back to the table someone was there to assist us with our chair. Silverware was replaced without our notice we called them ninja servers our water or wines were always filled never even near empty. We were also offered some tastings of some seafood dip and chip and some bite size desserts lemon tart, peanut butter balls and chocolate covered mints. We all really enjoyed our dining experience and couldn't complain about the check for the service and the fine food $250 is cheap for 4 people with a bottle of wine. I totally recommend this for a date it's not all that impressive on the outside but for you males you're female date will appreciate being treated like a lady! We will come back next time we're in Vegas. Great place!
