| - This has to be the worst Métro grocery store in Montreal. It is extremely expensive, food is often expired or simply not fresh. The whole store is dirty and in a constant state of disarray, a lot of items are missing. Fruit flies, moss on fruits, you name it.
Prices are absolutely ridiculous. Look for a shopping cart? Tough luck my friend, they're in the underground parking and they're gonna stay there, even though there's not a client in sight. Very little variety, and for some vegetables or fruits, it's expensive organic brand or bust, because there is no other option.
Numerous complaints to this store or to Métro head office have never been addressed. Many reviews on Google are dismal, and believe me, they're true. The owner doesn't care and his store is a disgrace.
I blame the lack of competition for this sad state of affairs, but now that Adonis grocery store had opened on Peel, two minutes away, Griffintown residents finally have a real choice, apart from going to the Super C at Atwater. You will never see me at this Metro ever again.
