  • I grew up in Chandler, and I would always make fun of Downtown Chandler when comparing it to Tempe or Scottsdale. Maybe I am getting older, but it is actually looking better and better to me now with all of the new businesses opening in the area. SanTan is one of my favorites. It's a cool place to hang out and have a couple of beers. You can't go wrong with the burgers here. Also, if you're a big Mac 'n Cheese fan, try their San Antonio Mac + Cheese (brisket, BBQ sauce, corn bread crust).
