I applied with them to rent a home in the Charlotte area. They told us that since my husband and I were both retired that the process would go quickly. They took my $90 for the application fee and never followed through with our application. After four days of not hearing back from them, I called and was told that they needed one more day to complete the app and that everything they needed for a decision was in and they were just waiting on a final review and I would receive a call the next day around the same time. I explained to them that we were staying in a hotel and needed the process done ASAP. Again, no call back. Well another week went by and I still hadn't heard from them so I decided to contact them to see if they were ever going to get back to us. I was then told that my app was being held because a home that we had sold in another state was still showing that we owned it and it was pulling our debt ratio down. I asked so when was someone going to contact me about the problem. I was then asked to forward closing papers or some type of proof that we no longer owned the home. I said are you kidding me...I could not wait any longer for your company to give us a decision...so we went to another company and we moved in the house last week. If I owned a property and needed it managed, I would never use them. They lost a renter because they just let our app sit and now I'm working on getting my app fee refunded because they didn't complete their obligation. All I was told by the rep was oh, I'm sorry that no one got back to you and you had to rent elsewhere. Now that's really sad! Their true rating needs to a zero, but that option wasn't available!!!
