  • I've been going to Dr. Spivak for about 12 years. He's the only person who understand my eyes, and I've never had a bad Rx from him. They're always willing to at least try to get you in the same day for emergencies, too. The staff has completely changed in the last few years, and everyone is super nice and accommodating. I usually end up waiting a bit, but honestly, I've grown accustomed to waiting in the eye doctor's office. Every optometrist or ophthalmologist I've been to has made me sit for hours. Dr. Spivak is way more on time than most. Thorough exams, nice frame selection. can't really complain at all, except of course that glasses in general are absurdly priced no matter where you go once you say you want anti-glare, polycarbonate lenses. Went to LensCrafters for my sunglasses last time because I wanted them the same day and had a "coupon" from them. It was supposed to be like $69 or something if you bought a whole new pair, and they still ended up being $245. For the quality I received at that price, it's worth it in my opinion to just have my normal office deal with it and wait a week for them to come in. I'll be going to this office until he either retires, or I move -- whichever comes first.
