St Lawrence Market is simply amazing. If I was a professional chef, I would want to open up a restaurant near here so that I can always have the freshest ingredients. Seriously, just walking around inside I can tell that these are some of the best produce I've ever seen. Granted, you pay for what you get. It's a little pricier than your local grocery store. If I wasn't worried about bringing raw meats on the GO train home, I would have purchased some of their fine quality goods.
The market consists of two floors. The main floor consists of mainly butchers and some produce shops. There are also a few bakeries (one that sells desserts and one that sells bread). The lower floor has a number of other bakeries and produce shops. There's also a Freshly Squeezed counter if you're in need of a smoothie break. The lower floor also has free wifi.
