  • We left a feather comforter to be DRY cleaned and a pair of pants to be shorten. The comforter, we were told, could be ready in one day. We gave them a week and when we tried to pick it up, TWICE, they told us that the comforter was WET and never dried. WHY WOULD A FEATHER COMFORTER BE WET???? Yesterday, they said they needed to put it in the dryer?????? By the way, the seamtress said she was NEVER told to shorten the pants. After I called to complain, I received a call from Monica, @ Maple cleaners, this morning. I explained my situation and she told me that the employees had given me wrong information and that the Comforter and pants would be ready today, after 5pm. She also, said that she would only charge 1/2 price for the comforter. We are willing to give them a THIRD chance to get this right. Will post AFTER we pick up the two items. Ok, picked up the two items, yes they were ready on time. Pants were shorten good enough. The comforter is still damp, has some burn marks on it, smells like mold, mildew AND chemicals, the feather s are now all lumped up in one side, it is now UN-USEABLE! To the trash it goes!
