  • Great little hideout within the Wynn. We booked this place because we were watching Le Reve at 7:00pm and thought we'd grab an early dinner before then. FOOD: Ordered their La Cave Caesar Salad ($11.00), Onion Soup ($9.00), Shrimp Ceviche ($15.00), Tomato, Micro Mozzarella, Caper Flatbread ($14.00), Black Angus Sirloin Steak ($22.00), Rack of Lamb ($23.00), Strowngbow Apple Cider ($9.00), Strawberry Cucumber Lemonade ($16.00), and a Chocolate Mousse Cake ($9.00). The La Cave Caesar is marvelous little appetizer to start off dinner, it's Bibb lettuce wrapped in a thinly sliced Prosciutto with lightly brushed on Caesar dressing. I really enjoyed it since it wasn't so heavy with dressing and the Prosciutto was the perfect amount to give a nice savory kick to the fresh lettuce. The Shrimp Ceviche was a little sweet for me since the peach and pineapple chutney has a really sweet undertone, but shrimps were crunchy and definitely cleaned well. Their flatbread I think was highlight of the dinner in terms of portion and price, especially in Vegas upscale restaurants. It's enough to feed two people at least and visually it's not overly oily like normal pizzas are. My sister and brother seemed to really enjoy the texture and the how the flavors were light and flavorful. The Black Angus Sirloin is to die for! I definitely recommend it. It was so tender and juicy, cooked to perfection that it melted in my mouth when I ate it. Ahhh! I can still taste the delicious aroma of their Sirloin steak! SERVICE: Our waitress was absolutely lovely, my sister has difficulty making up her mind when it comes to deciding on a dish, but she was patient with us and was just terrific. Great attitude with a charming smile and bright personality! She wasn't overly pushy in terms of over checking up on us nor did she disappear the entire time we were dining. AMBIANCE: Just spectacular! I made a reservations note that I wanted to sit in their garden patio and that was where we were seated. Our seats were more like front porchesque couches where you get to sit back with long comfy pillows all around as you sip wine and look at the beautiful view of Vegas through their glass patio. Soft jazz music gingerly danced in the background with dimmed lighting, noise level was minimal which I loved. It's so classy and romantic here! Perfect for intimate outings. :)
